Communication Presentation from Family Action
Join us for a talk from specialists in communication strategies and Signalong, from the Family Action team at the Dragonfly Hotel King’s Lynn
The West Norfolk Autism Group provides support and guidance to individuals of all ages whose lives are affected by autism.
They organise training/workshops and coffee mornings in a range of public venues, for anyone including professionals who are interested and would benefit from knowing and understanding more about autism in whatever capacity.
They also support autistic people, their families and carers and campaign for better local services for people living in West Norfolk and aim to improve their quality of life.
The charity is run entirely by volunteers with lived or family experience of autism and we work tirelessly to deliver a vast range of social events and activities for our members.
Our group supports around 350 families who are scattered across a wide area of West Norfolk, from Hunstanton to Downham Market. Whether you have a child on the autistic spectrum or are an autistic adult yourself, we would love you to join us.
Anyone is very welcome indeed to come along to our coffee meet-ups and workshops/talks and to follow our Facebook page Autism West Norfolk where we share lots of information and advice. Our coffee mornings are held every couple of months in a range of venues to make them accessible to everyone. We advertise them on our website and FB page.
To become a member and be able to attend our activities you must have a diagnosis of autism and live in West Norfolk (KL&WNBC). Thank you.
We are please to announce we are ow a registered charity (charity number 1204178).
