We were absolutely delighted when Priory Rotary Satellite Club organised a Race Night and raised a magnificent £500 for us. This is the first fundraising event anyone has done for us. We are really touched by such kindness and generosity .

Mark Collins, David Mills and Andy Davis of the Satellite Club presented the WNAG Committee with their cheque at Strikes Bowling on Sunday. Forty very happy  members of all ages were taking part in a ten pin bowling event for the evening . Some of the monies raised by Priory Rotary went towards funding the evening and we are looking forward to deciding how we will make best use of the remaining balance.

Mark Collins, Satellite Club Leader, said: “The Satellite Club meets once a month on a Monday evening for a friendly and informal get-together to discuss what we can do to help worthwhile projects in the local area.  We were pleased to be able to support this very worthy cause and to see at first hand some of the great work they are doing.”

The West Norfolk Autism Group has been set up to support autistic people and their families locally. The pandemic made us realise how important focusing on our local  autistic community is . We’ve set up the group to help provide activities to our members which encourage physical activity and interaction with others . Socialising with like-minded autistic people in a relaxed environment is positive for physical and mental well-being.

The group already has 100 members and relies on donations and fundraising to  enable them to organise activities which are suitable for their members .
